Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance using proper techniques
- Document care activities accurately in resident charts
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in senior care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude with patience for elderly care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Background check and TB clearance required
