Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of senior nursing staff, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Medication Administration: Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communication: Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care instructions and health maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (New Graduates are encouraged to apply!).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy and empathy.
