Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
- Support meal service and monitor nutritional intake
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and sanitized resident living spaces
- Report changes in resident condition promptly to healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to elder care
- Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if required for off-site duties)
