Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and safely transfer them to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and visitors.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed nurses and document all care provided.
- Support patients with emotional needs, ensuring a comfortable and dignified experience.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
