Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to therapy, escalating care as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and health maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (new graduates with excellent clinicals considered).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
