Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transfers and wheelchair usage.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medication as directed by the RN, following strict safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA certification (CNA I or CNA II).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
