Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and patients' families regarding care plans.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress logs in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and assist with patient transfers.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
