Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record "vital signs" such as blood pressure and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and daily living activities.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Missouri (or willingness to obtain if relocating from Florida).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
