Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Provide mobility assistance and help with range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Assist with meal service and monitor food intake
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior healthcare experience required
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must obtain Nebraska CNA certification within 90 days of hire
