Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and changes in condition.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
