Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) for elderly clients
- Monitor vital signs and document health status in electronic records
- Assist with medication administration per care plan
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Implement fall prevention and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with families and care team members
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year home health or long-term care experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Availability for consistent 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Proficiency with care documentation software
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear TB test and background check
