Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and health status changes
- Assist with daily living activities and maintain patient hygiene standards
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to implement care plans
- Document patient observations and care delivery accurately in electronic records
- Support patient education and emotional well-being during recovery
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
