Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and medical conditions, identifying changes and intervening as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress updates in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, post-discharge care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
