Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform wound care, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures as required.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the job.
