Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and patient observations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate resident documentation and medical records
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies
- Assist with dining services and ensure nutritional needs are met
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or long-term care facility
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate approach to elderly care
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
