Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or Physician.
- Document patient status, care provided, and any changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Massachusetts State CNA License (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- CPR certification is a plus.
