Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Vital Signs: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patients maintain proper hygiene and that their environment is clean, safe, and free from hazards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care plans in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Feeding: Assist with feeding patients who require special dietary accommodations or assistance.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid State of Arizona CNA certification.
- License: Active Arizona license to practice as a Nursing Assistant.
- BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients; stand for extended periods; and perform physical tasks.
