Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient behavior, and medical conditions
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and positioning patients
- Support daily living activities and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Administer medications under proper supervision and document accurately
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Passion for geriatric or long-term care populations
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
