Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Manage patient records and update digital charts accurately
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when certified
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain clinical supply organization
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and current immunization records
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays
- X-ray license valid in Texas
