Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning patients safely and comfortably.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in the EHR system.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
- Administer medication as directed by the nursing staff within scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California CNA license (CNA I).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
