Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily activities accurately.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with medical procedures and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- Current and active Washington State CNA license.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and compassion for the elderly or disabled.
