Responsibilities
- Provide remote patient intake, vital sign monitoring, and telehealth support
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records and documentation systems
- Coordinate patient care plans and referrals across departments
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform point-of-care testing and lab specimen collection
- Facilitate virtual patient education and follow-up communications
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong telehealth technology aptitude
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work effectively in hybrid on-site/remote environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
