Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfer activities
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond to patient call lights promptly and respectfully
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation protocols
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
