Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and other health metrics
- Administer medications and treatments under proper supervision
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and charts
- Collaborate with healthcare team to create personalized care plans
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
