Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with patient nutrition, medication administration (under supervision), and wound care
- Maintain clean, safe environments following OSHA and HIPAA standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Pass background check and drug screening
