Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, residents' conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
- Support nutritional needs during meal times and ensure hydration
- Collaborate with RNs and care teams to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Report changes in resident health promptly to clinical staff
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospice experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Passionate about geriatric care and patient advocacy
