Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic CNA to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the charge nurse or medical staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Current State of Wisconsin CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
