Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning patients safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or ACLS certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate and patient-oriented demeanor.
