Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient health records and care plans accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and patients' families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN/MD.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Maryland CNA License.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
