Job Summary
In this role, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents and patients. You will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores and ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and common areas at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Ohio.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
