Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients with eating.
- Change linens and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure patient rooms are sanitary and organized.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Clean background check and drug screen required.
