Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility assistance as directed by nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily progress accurately and timely.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients as required.
