Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate daily care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous healthcare experience beneficial but not required
