Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Washington.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
