Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Support patients with activities of daily living in assisted living settings
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute or long-term care
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and documentation proficiency
