Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assistance with daily living activities, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patient health status, record vital signs, and report changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of Texas (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as required by the job duties.
