Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and support, including feeding, bathing, and dressing assistance.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Texas ID or Driver's License.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred but not required.
