Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic CNA to provide high-quality care to patients in our Oakland facilities. The ideal candidate will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor health status, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (valid in California).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist patients as needed.
