Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes, abnormalities, or emergencies to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred, but we are willing to train immediate hires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients as necessary.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
