Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical training programs.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as necessary.
