Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene as needed.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Administer prescribed medications and document patient responses accurately.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to update patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the State of Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
