Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and walking.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and reactions accurately in medical records.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to Registered Nurses and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of Arizona required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
