Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients to wheelchairs and walking.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment at all times.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA certification preferred, but candidates with no experience are encouraged to apply if they are willing to complete training.
- Strong compassion for the elderly and those in need of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient lifting.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
