Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to update patient care plans and report changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (for off-site training or transport).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
