Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and needs
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Passionate about geriatric or specialized patient care
- Clear background check and TB screening
