Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff for coordinated care plans
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour overnight shifts
- Pass background check and TB screening
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with elderly residents
