Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure patient nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Provide emotional support to patients and family members
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- TB test and health clearance upon hire
