Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and care documentation
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and fall prevention protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations during overnight hours
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility policies
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and inventory supplies
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Availability to work 7 PM - 7 AM shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
