Job Summary
As a Night Shift CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents. You will work closely with the nursing team to provide high-quality care throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transferring from beds to chairs or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, active Massachusetts CNA License.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and holidays.
