Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance using proper techniques
- Administer medications under RN supervision as per policy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate approach with elderly residents
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
